The following are some of the fun events that will be occurring in the Spring / Summer of 2026
at various bowls clubs in Manitoba and some fun but competitive events beyond our provincial borders:


BMI OPENING TOURNY - Saturday, May 23, 2026
This fun, "let's get started" tournament will take place on Saturday May 23, 2026 at 1212 Dakota,
from 10 AM - 3:30PM.  

The format will remain similar to past years, with each club providing at least 6 players.  These players, along with 2 provincial-level players acting as skips, will form 2 teams.

The cost is $15 per person and will include a BBQ lunch.  
Members interested should contact their Club Presidents or Reps and forward the fee to them.  
All 6 team members' names should be forwarded to Phil at clarkp52@yahoo.com by May 1st, and fees for the full team (6 x $15) should be sent in to Cathy at bowls@shawbiz.ca


NATIONAL BOWLS DAY - Saturday June 6, 2026
There will be a National Bowls Day event held at 1212 Dakota on this date.  Details to follow!
