Competitive Bowler Clinic
Saturday May 16 from 1-4 pm at 1212 Dakota
This training clinic is free of charge and open to any club bowlers who compete or may want to compete. Upgrade existing skills or learn now ones! Bring your bowls, lunch, water and a desire to improve!
Please pre-register with Shirley at sfitzwong@shaw.ca by May 14th.
Bowls Manitoba's Opening Fun Tournament will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 1212 Dakota.
Each club is asked to forward the names of at least 6 members, who will be put onto two teams with provincial level players as skips.
Cost is $15/person and a BBQ lunch is provided.
Members interested should contact their Club Presidents or Reps and forward the fee to them. All 6 team members' names should be forwarded to Phil at clarkp52@yahoo.com by May 1st, and fees for the full team (6 x $15) should be sent in to Cathy at bowls@shawbiz.ca
Umpire & Measure Clinic
Sunday May 31st at 1 pm at Norwood LBC
This clinic is free of charge and all bowlers are welcome and encouraged to attend, as it's a great learning experience! Rules and measurement skills will be reviewed. This is of great value to new bowlers and a good refresher course for others, as some aspects of being a marker has changed.
Please pre-register with Betty VW at bbvanwall@gmail.com before May 24th so we ensure there are enough refreshments for all!

Bowls Manitoba has adopted the new Safe Sport Policy Manual, created by Sport Manitoba. The new policies within the Manual take effect as of April 1, 2026, in accordance with The Protecting Youth in Sports Act enacted by the Manitoba Government.
These new policies are part of the Manitoba-wide Safe Sport framework being implemented through Sport Manitoba and the Government of Manitoba. The updated policies provide a simplified, transparent, and independent system for reporting, preventing and responding to maltreatment in sport.
